Since my husband loved the freebie Merino Tech socks I received so much (he’s super picky about his socks—it’s almost impossible to find a pair he approves of!), I chose his size for my freebie selection, or so I thought. I picked the same large size, but they turned out to be much smaller, which left me a bit confused. So, I started wearing them myself instead. I’m enjoying them—they’re definitely much snugger than the previous freebie large hiking socks. They stay put and wash well. Personally, I prefer them a little softer for lounging at home. Bottom line: well-made, nice socks.

I am a women's size 7 and purchased the size 4-8. They were huge! But I gave them to my husband and he really likes them. They are on the thinner side, but they do seem to actually have a high wool content and seem to be well made.

Ran slightly large, but after washing and drying, they shrank slightly. They are not like the usual Merino wool socks I buy, which have more foot compression and cost a lot more, but they are still nice. Merino wool is a unique wool that actually keeps your feet comfortable whether it is cold or hot. Love it.

They do what Merino socks do, they're an excellent value, and I would definitely buy them again.
