Merino Wool Hiking Socks - Multicolor: Light Grey, Charcoal, Black

These pair of socks is exactly what I needed. My feet feels much warmer and it makes up for the lack of insulation in my overpriced boots. My purchase was worth it.

These socks are really comfortable and easy to don. I'd received my first pair as a gift and they fit so well I thought I'd buy some more. These hiking socks were exactly what I wanted, but I also prefer to have a variety of colors to choose from, therefore I also purchased two pair of the charcoal/oatmeal socks. Unfortunately the charcoal/oatmeal socks do not fit my foot over the heel and top of my foot near the ankle. They don't stretch enough. The three pair of hiking socks do not have this problem and are excellent to wear while wandering the hiking trails. 100% would buy the hiking socks again, but would certainly avoid the charcoal/oatmeal.

I am a women's size 7 and purchased the size 4-8. They were huge! But I gave them to my husband and he really likes them. They are on the thinner side, but they do seem to actually have a high wool content and seem to be well made.

Ran slightly large, but after washing and drying, they shrank slightly. They are not like the usual Merino wool socks I buy, which have more foot compression and cost a lot more, but they are still nice. Merino wool is a unique wool that actually keeps your feet comfortable whether it is cold or hot. Love it.
