FAQ
Men's Heavyweight FAQ
When should I choose 320gsm heavyweight merino?
When warmth matters more than breathability: sub-zero temperatures, long periods standing still such as fishing, stalking or spectating, winter camping, or if you always feel the cold.
Is 320gsm merino too warm for hiking?
For hard uphill efforts it can be. Hikers who run warm usually prefer 250gsm, or a 165gsm base with a warmer layer on top.
Is heavyweight merino itchy?
No. Heavier fabric does not mean coarser fibre; every weight uses the same soft 17.5-micron merino.
